Services for individuals and businesses
Tax Services and Accounting in London, Ontario
A&P Accounting & Tax Experts is a downtown London accounting and tax practice that handles everything from a single T4 return to the full books, payroll and T2 return of an incorporated company. Whether you need one filing done right or a tax accountant you can call all year, the work is organized around your situation rather than a menu of forms.
Employees, students, landlords and retirees usually start with personal tax. Sole proprietors and owner-managers tend to need several services that feed each other, from bookkeeping to HST to the corporate return. Executors and anyone holding a CRA letter need a careful, step-by-step approach.
Every return is explained to you in plain language before it is filed, and our Google rating sits at 5.0 stars from 11 reviews, with clients pointing to clear explanations, attention to detail and quick replies.

Tax Services for Individuals and Families
Most households need tax help once a year, but the stakes are real: a missed slip can trigger a reassessment, and a missed credit is money left with the CRA. Our personal tax services in London cover salaried workers, people earning on the side and families settling an estate.
Personal Tax Returns
A T1 return built from your T4, T5, T3 and T5008 slips, tuition (T2202) and RRSP receipts, plus the credits people forget, like medical expenses, the Canada caregiver amount and the disability tax credit (Form T2201).
Rental income on Form T776, prior-year catch-up filings and T1-ADJ corrections to returns already filed are handled here too.
Self-Employed and Sole Proprietor Taxes
Freelancers, trades, realtors and delivery or rideshare drivers report business income on Form T2125, the CRA statement of business or professional activities.
We sort expenses into the right categories, work out home office and vehicle claims, calculate CPP on self-employment income and plan for the June 15 filing deadline and the April 30 payment date.
Estate and Trust Tax Returns
When someone dies, an executor inherits a list of tax filings: the final T1 return, any outstanding prior years, T3 returns for the estate and often a TX19 request for a clearance certificate.
We take that list off your plate and explain each step, so you know when it is safe to distribute the estate.

Business services
Accounting and Tax for Businesses
Business accounting works like a chain. Clean monthly bookkeeping produces the numbers for payroll remittances and HST returns, and those same records become the year-end financial statements behind the T2 corporate return.
When one firm handles every link, an error caught in March does not resurface as a CRA adjustment two years later. Pick the services you need now and add more as the business grows.
Corporate Tax Returns (T2)
Every corporation files a T2 within six months of its fiscal year-end, even in a year with no income. We prepare the return, the GIFI financial data and the schedules for the small business deduction, and plan instalments for the year ahead.
Small Business Accounting and Financial Statements
Year-end financial statements prepared under a compilation engagement (CSRS 4200), plus management reports that tell an owner where cash is going. Banks, landlords and franchisors often ask for these statements.
Bookkeeping
Monthly, quarterly or catch-up bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online or Xero. Bank and credit card accounts are reconciled every period, so HST returns and the year-end start from numbers you can trust.
Payroll
Pay runs with correct CPP, EI and income tax withheld, source deductions remitted to the CRA on time, T4 slips each February and Records of Employment when staff leave. Ontario extras like Employer Health Tax and WSIB premiums are covered as well.
GST/HST Returns
Registration once your taxable sales pass the $30,000 small supplier threshold, monthly, quarterly or annual GST/HST returns, and input tax credit claims for the 13% HST you pay on business purchases in Ontario.
Business Incorporation
Help choosing between Ontario and federal incorporation, a NUANS name search, articles filed through the Ontario Business Registry, and CRA program accounts for corporate tax, payroll and HST opened in one sequence.
Business owners also ask about the industries we know best. Our overview of the clients and industries we serve covers trades, landlords, professionals and more.
Year-round help
Tax Planning and CRA Support
Some of the most valuable tax work has no filing deadline attached. Planning decisions are made months before a return is prepared, and CRA letters arrive whenever the CRA's review cycle reaches your file, often in summer or fall.
Tax Planning
Good planning happens before December 31, not in April. For families that means timing RRSP, TFSA and First Home Savings Account (FHSA) contributions, pension income splitting and charitable gifts.
For incorporated owners it means choosing the right mix of salary and dividends, deciding when to sell an asset with a capital gain and keeping corporate income inside the small business limit.
CRA Audit Support and Tax Problem Resolution
A CRA review letter usually comes with a 30-day window to send receipts or explanations. We read the letter with you, gather what the CRA asked for and respond on your behalf once you authorize us through Represent a Client.
The same team handles notices of objection, unfiled years, requests to waive penalties under taxpayer relief and voluntary disclosures.
Key dates for both personal and business filers, from the RRSP contribution deadline to T4 slips and T2 filing, are collected in our Ontario tax deadlines and document checklist.
Holding a CRA letter right now?
Call before the response date passes. We will read it with you and explain what the CRA is actually asking for.
Quick guide
Which Service Fits Your Situation?
You do not need to know the CRA's form numbers to find the right help. Start with what is going on in your life or your business, and the service usually follows.
Plenty of situations involve more than one service. A newly incorporated contractor with two employees, for example, needs bookkeeping, payroll, HST and a T2, and the quote reflects all of it together.

| A home purchase, a retirement or a big sale coming up | A tax plan made before the decision, not after | Tax planning for families and owners |
| A letter from the CRA, or several years I never filed | CRA correspondence, audit and late-filing support | CRA audit and letter support |
